This movie fascinates Nawazuddin Siddiqui, the title character of Indian Pakistani writer Saudat Hasan author. Tahir Raj Bhasin plays Shyam Chadda, a 40 year old Bollywood superstar. Shyam is a friend of Manto, a best friend, inspired by many stories. Rasika Dugal is playing the role of Manto's wife Safia.
Saadat Hasan, a dramatic short story writer, works as a screenwriter in the brilliant world of the Bombay movie circle as the free struggle against the British Empire and Indian foretail are separated. Although he has little relationship with the Progressive Writers Association, many of the members are close friends including feminist writer Ismat Chattay. He has many admirers and friends in the film industry. The closest is Shyam Chadda, an attractive cast actor, a famous actor, director, producer, Ashok Kumar. But his biggest supporter and unwavering pillar of strength is his wife, Safia.
